A new Nordic Noir for me to rave about. I can’t apologise for being addicted to such outstanding reading material.
I love books written from more than one point of view, as it unravels things slowly and they can really make you wonder at what exactly is going on. This is beautifully written, dark, full of menace and high octane darkness that I find typifies Nordic Noir in a good way. It gives enough information about the first book, so you don’t feel left behind. Though I do now feel compelled to read it!
I was hooked from the get go and it totally blew me away. Absolutely brilliant and another wonderful book from Orenda and talented people. A definite read in one go book. Don’t plan to do anything else when you pick this up. It won’t get done.
With thanks to Anne Cater, Orenda books and the authors for the advanced reading copy of this book.
